About me
I believe that it is one thing to listen to someone when they speak, but it is another to truly hear what they are saying. In sessions my aim is to offer true warmth and honesty so that we can work together in a trusting therapeutic relationship.
I can offer you a safe, non-judgemental, confidential space, my full attention and support to look at any emotional, social, or mental health issues that you wish to bring.
Working together, at your pace, we can explore what is troubling you, uncover any root causes and identify specific ways of thinking. We can then look at identifying what you need, create some strategies to help reconcile your issues and find ways of coping.
I am an integrative therapist; this means that I draw on different approaches to inform our work together. Therapy can be long or short term, dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, shame, blame, guilt, relationships, trauma, bereavement, low self-esteem, and self-worth.

I work with individuals and couples (heterosexual and same sex), offering both long and short term therapy. My aim is to help couples to understand how external factors such as lifestyle, family values and culture can affect relationships and how to communicate in a more effective way. Also to help understanding of why arguments escalate and resolve conflicts where possible.
Training, qualifications & experience
My clinical and personal experience has been working with survivors of trauma, abuse and sexual violence, grief, and the impact of medical issues. I am passionate about offering support to anyone affected by the menopause, the implications of which can be overwhelming.
